Day two: Meditation time

We all have those moments when we want time to ourselves. And that's great because that gives us time to find our center in life. In the book that I am reading today it talks about slowing down and looking at your environment. What I got out of that is when you take time to smell the roses you learn something else about yourself. It also talks about how not to multitask. And I think that is a great idea because you get so over whelmed that you don't know how or when to stop and take a deep breath. So what I did was I turned the TV and now I feel a little bit better because the silence is helping me think. After this I will eat at the table and not have the TV on again until I am done. I know finding your inner self is very hard because I try every day to find it. So please don't think I am stupid or that my blog is silly. I am trying to help. As the title suggests meditation time should be a time when you turn everything off and just breath and not think about the outside world for twenty minutes or more. Will you feel better after that? Maybe but everyone is different. I pray that things get better in this country and I pray that the NRA finally listens to the parents who have lost their child in school shootings. I feel like we can make a huge difference in gun safety. But people have to be willing to let go of their selfishness. So take time to pray and take time to meditate on your inner self and on life.

Question of the day: What do you think of the world right now?
Challenge of the day: Find a quite spot in your house or apartment and turn everything off and meditate for twenty minutes. Then tell me how you felt after that twenty minutes.
